Along d' line: Kapas Escape.

hahahaha... funny to replace Kapas with Cotton Island. yet it brings d' same meaning. whichever doesnt matter.According to Malaysian Meteorology Department, terengganu wud be raining all day saturday n sunday. at 1st we canceled Kapas Island. howevr u know mama, she never gives up wudnt she?;p yup, that saturday morning we started packing n hoped

onto the road with no specific destination. but obviously we were heading Kuala Terengganu. Maybe Taman Tamadun Islam or State Museum . That was the intention. hahha, u wudnt believe Abah agreed this. hes always against such improper planning.

Luckily, the weather was superbly fine!!. stopped for lunch somewhere in Marang. Ikan Kembong Goreng Tepung mmg thumbs up.;).. from there, we can already see Kapas Island. rasa mcm berenang pn boleh sampai.ok fine... Bohooo tipu!;p...

within minutes i saw mama smiling, i can see her plan is changing n n i knew it!! So, Kapas Island here we come!;))))) abah drove off to Marang Jetty. Since now is the off-season trip so we got the promotion package rate. Season trip package is around RM175 per adult ( 2days 1 night+ ferry ride + 3x meals + air-cond superior room+snorkeling).

hahhaa, the ferry ride was bumpy all the way. mcm naik speed boat lol. theres no one else. only the five of us n the captain. it took us about 15 minutes to reach the other land.reached Kapas Island Resort around 3pm n unpacked. our standard room was nice. they are named after all the islands in Pahang. Ours are Pulau Batu Bara n Pulau Redang(^_^).

after jamak prayers, we walked along the beach. PANAS GILA! Pulau Kapas is one of Malaysias Taman Laut. no wonder their water is still clear. but u can never beat My late Pulau Perhentian. No way!;p.... even Pulau Payar lg ok. pulau langkawi. penang, pangkor jauh jauh skali. Mama kata pulau tioman sgt lg best ;( how bout pulau ular then? hahahahaahh! that was a joke....

We saw Qimi Resort, Makcik Gemuk resort,discovered a few small caves, snapped some family pictures n waited for sunset. done with dinner by 8.30. syafiq watched his football match man u vs manchester city i guess. mama n abah had a night-walking by the beach. me n aqish went to sleep early.

that morning After breakfast syafiq brought me jungle tracking i love jungle tracking more. we discovered the other side of the island. met an english couple looking like midsomer muderers n we turned back to catch snorkeling session at 10.00. i refused to go snorkeling everytime mase pegi pulau-pulau sebelum ni. im not into underwater world. im not into marines life. im a forest person remmber. this time im gonna have to do it. i must! well, it turns out to be fun!;).. the fishes swam with u. u can see corals are waving at u... the fishes r way beautiful in their natural habitat. n theres this one creature they call plankton, i dont know...plankton tu sepatotnye sejenis tumbuhan yg dimakan oleh ikan kn. but they can sting u?? really? daa n it really hurts!!! gatai gila. poor aqish she cant stand the itchiness n was crying wanted to get herself out off the water...

had our lunch at 12.30 n its packing time. we left kapas island for Marang at 2pm. went visit to some famous places in Kuala Terengganu. then we headed Kuantan using another alternative route which is the Jabor-Jerangau road. it took us about 1 hour 45 minutes, itu pn kalo maintan 12okm/hour la kan... thats about all.
