Native: Rio de la Plata region of South America
Usage: suitable for rock gardens and act as groundcovers.
My Personal View: when i was small, My mum used to plant these Zephyranthes in her front garden. i grew up knowing it as " bunga bawang ". hahahaha... sometimes i play with the stem n flowers for my 'masak2' session with some kids. i often got scolded for destroying the appearance of her garden. i wonder how beautiful those flowers are but people seem to ignore it n they go for its bulbs. Now, i met the same childhood plant which i still call it bunga bawang until today ~ngee... i look at it with different thoughts. it is not the same bawang(Allium cepa) which we used for cookin' but it is a Zephyrantes. the flowers are pure white, come with attitudes and i just love them for being just white!! go fairy lily, cherish them for life!=)

LovEly!!u go salvias... survive!!=p

future horticulturist

Horticulture is the industry and science of plant cultivation. Horticulturists work and conduct research in the disciplines of plant propagation and cultivation, crop production, plant breeding and genetic engineering, plant biochemistry, and plant physiology. The work particularly involves fruits, berries, nuts, vegetables, flowers, trees, shrubs, and turf. Horticulturists work to improve crop yield, quality, nutritional value, and resistance to insects, diseases, and environmental stresses. The study of Horticulture involves 5 areas of study which are Pomology, Ornamental+Landscape, Olericulture, Floriculture, and Post-harvest physiology.

p/s: I've gone through 4 semester of thick n thin in this course. as for now, i can tell it was a total blast for being apart of it. people might take for granted of the importance of living plants and their qualities. they simply destroy those natural plants in order to build new breathless concrete buildings which are not necessary. well, cant blame them all cuz appreciation needs time,patience, love,hard work n determination. All da best friends... u r half way ahead!! go! go!

the love is slipping away

the love is slipping away....

cant remember the exact date of our 1st met. but i can still remember the 1st time i saw her.. somewhere around feb 2002, i guess. she was a new girl in school, a year younger, walking alone heading the cafe with her black, blue flower baju kurung. a friend(arep! hee) asked me to do him a favor and i spoke to her in front of the ladies, during prep hour. shes a nice girl... adorable smile.. sweetness!!... we became friends the day onwards. shes more a sister to me. like other students, we did exchange baju kurung n ect. we ate lunch or dinner 2gether sumtimes. we share beds if there were stay up meetings(gosipping=p!).we took care of each other like sistas of our own...sWeeTneSS=)!!! some parts of those days, postmen were required.... somesort of a pigeon sending love letters in d old times. (romantic... it is!) also not to forget those sorrow moments we've been through (the day u left semashur). as years past by, the love grew along together with our friendship. the bond between us were getting stronger and proudly to say the friendship between us continues until today. but i can feel the love is slipping away each day now. misunderstanding, long distance, less sharing, nothing in common, they're just destroying the bond. i hope to be one of her best friends in life or mayb lucky enough to be the only sista she had. n if she (iqa) had the chance to read this, pls know that u r still my lil' sis. the love is always there for u no matter what. instead, i need u to be my one and only maid of honor on my wedding day. cause i want u to deserve that.. enough said... u rOcKs girl! u roCks!
