Ecuador is located in south america. next to peru somewhere near chile....wuteva... that doesnt matter... woke up this morning doin some follow-ups on Sosilawati's death case and this article caught my attention. "Ecuador has these roses u can eat". hoh...(source: METRO.. Sept 16 2010.)
According to Nevado(farm owner), he started growing organic roses in his green houses 4 years ago...they are the same species as the non-edible roses but only organic fertilizers r used. no pesticide or other chemical subtances are applied infact they use garlic spray n planted garlic around the greenhouse as repellents.
Restaurants around New York- Barcelona are now experimenting the market of edible rose petal in desserts = such as Rose Souffle. Expert also claimed that roses do offer nutritional benefits such as VitC n Ca.
p/s: people said this is a new thing..bt i say not. kat India derang da lama mkn kelopak rose ni ngan ice-cream yg dlm roti tu.. that was 10 years back kalo x salah.. i wonder dlm malaysia buat xlg? jom cr!!!.. jgn yg kne sembur pesticide ditaram gak sudah la. hadoi!;)
