thE fav Bakau TinGGi!;)

this is our very very very fav place so far. terletak di Bakau tinggi, Terengganu.specialty? ianya merupakan sebuah restaurant terapung. dikala hujan lebat begini air sungai mmg naik jadi restaurant ini bagaikan terapung sama naik dgn paras jalan raya. restaurant ini hanya ditampung oleh tong biru yang besar. tau tak yang slalu org gune ntuk takung air kat kedai2 mkn ke kat ladang ke. ha yang tu. b4 nak gi kat dek tu kena lalu titi kecil yang usang. setiap kali naik diri akan terumbang ambing dan harus memegang kuat pada tali. tetapi kadangkala air sehingga melimpah2 dan menyebabkan kedai ini perlu ditutup dan tidak boleh beroperasi. hee.. sambil2 makan kadang leh tgk boat kecil lalu sbelah. tgk anak2 org kampung main boat ayah deme. kalo air tinggi time byk ikan mmg boleh bwk joran skali sebab sambil makan boleh sambil pancing ikan. haritu deme dapat ikang kecik je. Makanan boleh tahan. nk ape? smua ade mcm kdai biase. tp kalo ako, kat sini mmg pesan KEAY TEOW CANTONESE. tiada yg lain. sdap gihle.. xpecaya rase. die goreng dlu k.teownye sampe rangup2 hangit skit then baru die goreng skali kuahnye yg panas melengak tu. dicampur dgn sotong udang yg melimpah ruah. pergh mmg sdap lah..... ako mana mkn sgt k.teow ladna, kungfu, cantonese what soever. tp kat sini mmg LAIN! SodAP!;p

over-exposed

i read this n it made me think...(hahahah call me,x tetap pendirian kolot;) its okey. i wont mind.;)).... so i think its about time. i better make it work this time. i've taken a few positive steps, i hope to see more n stay istiqamah! heee do not over-exposed urself.low-profile is the word.

Pearl Island Day 2

uh! i think i have to finish this one up. if not, tomorrow i wont be focusing on my leftover works yg belambak kat office. ceh.oh wokeh now.... where did i stop eyh? oi2 silap day 2 kn?..

had our breakfast at Sg,Nibong. oh i forgot the name of that place. but anyways, they serves various dishes nasi lemak n also lunch sets. Sdapp jgak!

soOn, we were already passing tru Jalan P.Ramlee n stopped by his house which is so-called "Rumah P.Ramlee". It chronicles his life history as well as showcases personal memorabilia.. i never knew he was born in Penang i tot he was a true Singaporean. i never knew he married Saloma n she was his third wife. i tot Saloma was just his friends back then. lame..lame..lame... sorry weh i missed out all his famous movies except for labu labi n pendekar bujang lapok. yg lain xtau.. n u guys did not know that Edz's grandfather was one of his friends during school years. LoL...

We didnt spent that much time at P.Ramlee house. N within minutes!! There we were in front of FORT CORNWALLIS at padang kota lama. *wink2*

Kota Cornwallis atau Esplanade was built when Captain Francis Light 1st landed on Penang, this ancient sentinel of George Town stands guard over the island's cape. The Fee is only RM2 per person.

if u r already sick with all these history stuff dont force urself reading tru their walls. its just about the same. perhaps ur textbook wud give u a better view of what had happen during 1786. n dont get frustrated there aint any secret chamber or wat soeva. poor edz! u watched too much of Harry Potter kot dear. LOL.....

feelin hungry that afternoon edz brought me to this one special Mee BangkOk sTall

so we continued our journey to Toy Museum. Admission fee is RM20 which is expensive for me. cuz i dont really watch cartoons except for Barbies n thumbelinas la kn? ngeee.... but i enjoyed to see over 100,000 toys, dolls n some other action figures in there. as i move from one character to another, i smiled n some of those reminds me of my dearest one n my childhood years. ;).... All of them are from the owners collection since 1973.

later, we rushed to Butterfly farm in Teluk Bahang n Taman Rimba.

before leaving Teluk Bahang for Batu Feringghi night market, kitorg sempat dropped by kat Miami beach for a few model scenes.. THERE!!LOL

Jeng.. jeng.. The mOst awaited shopping centre. The NighT MarkEt! i bought 4 pocket mirrors for only rm20. one 4 pia, one 4 syikin, one for baby bal n one for me. n also a special mirror for mama. Shaz bought herself 12 DVDs which total up to be Rm40. n they even sell buy 1 free 1 ice-cream LOL. fyi, this is where i ran into pia n syiqin. hahaha. what a small world girlfriends!;)

we decided to have dinner somewhere along gurney drive but last skali pi makan kat Padang Brom. Pekena cendol n laksa. Then BaLik tido nak prepare mental n fizikal utk EsOk.

Pearl Island Day 1

i spent 2 days pack with tentatives, thank u Edz kn? Lol. haih. we started our day at Taman Saador for breakfast. u gotta try that forever long queue Serabai. oh n b4 that, after she fetched me from penang airport last nite we had dinner at this Famous Sany Char keay teow. it was nice;)!!
so the next destination was USM,the place where she had her degree done.
then, we went to Jabatan Perikanan P.Pinang. we're supposed to visit the Aquarium unfortunately they're still under renovation. however, the MANGROVE WALK healed our dissapoinments;)...





at 11am, we reached War Museum. it is built on the remnants of an old British fort which defended Penang's coast from attack. the museum is a memorial to those who had died defending the country.




Here is one of my top visit list after Bukit Bendera, the new QUEENSBAY MALL ;p.. xtau nak mkn apa kat mall smua pn boleh dpt kat kl kn? so ended up at Sushi King. pfft.oklah tu.... igt nk cr kasut kat CR tp design baru masuk penang lambat. kecewa lg.;(




next, is the HAMEEDIYAH RESTAURANT. they serve the best NaSi BeriyaNI in Town. seriously Thumbs up! kUaH DalCa tu mmg superb ckup rase n sdikit pedas. i sapu licin hokay. teringat mase edz bwk tapau kat matrix dlu, boleh plak hirup kuah dlm licin sampai habes kn? i sniri lupa i duk buat keja loqlaq mcmtu. nak buat mcm mana? lol. u have to try this whenever u go to Penang tau!;)



n if sapa2 nak pekena the best CENDOL n CucUr Udang, do come to ChowRasa but make sure jgn lambat sgt. pkul 3 tu ok kot. if not frust ja smua da abes! sambil tu leh la shopping on Buah Pala there.


xperasan da maghrib. we have to rush back for a lil fresh up before heading Edz's house. its BBQ time babeh.

footnote: wanted a tourist guide? seriously hire Edzuwyn Fathin. Shes d best in town no joke... to be continued.;)

i bumped into Aimi Zafira n syiqin sobri here... a perfect coincidence kn?.Plan derg nk gi cherating raya cina xjadi n so i changed my plan to Penang. accidentally met them at d'Nite Market batu ferringhi masa i ngan edz duk cari2 blouse n some souvenirs for ma family. so secara x sengaja nya, here we are the 3 of us in Penang IslanD!
